Yes, I have decided to do something for others in need. I read that this year alone, more than 700,000 prisoners in America will be released. Many of them are Christian prisoners and they come home with just the ugly prison shirt on their back and $50 cash in their pocket. Little wonder that two-thirds of them will go back to prison one day.
I want to help break that cycle and could use some help. I am offering to donate a free dress shirt and tie to selected prisoners identified by Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship. Picture the prisoner wearing that shirt and tie to church; or to a job interview. We can improve their chances for making it in society instead of going back to prison.
